Obituary of Audrey Pierce

Audrey Pierce, 96, of Binghamton, NY formerly of Painted Post, NY, was received into heaven on Monday, March 20, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ethel Pierce, sisters; Barbara (Paul) Ryan, Shirley (Worth) Nestlerode, and dear friend, Jeannette Gellart. She is survived by two nephews; Brian (Pat) Nestlerode and Dale (Nancy) Nestlerode, nieces; Cheryl Nestlerode and Patty (Bob) Smith, along with several grandnieces and grandnephews. Audrey was a graduate of Practical Bible School and dedicated her life to serving God. For 53 years she worked with the Corning Area Bible Club, a ministry of Bible Centered Ministries Intl. She touched many lives with her heart of servitude and her love for God. Thank you to Margie Avery, Kathryn Snyder, Linda Briggs, and the staff and friends at Good Shepherd Fairview Home for their unending care and kindness. Also, thank you to North Baptist Church, Corning, NY, Ross Corners Baptist Church, and West Endicott Baptist Church, for their support throughout her ministry and retirement. Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 300 North Jensen Rd. Vestal, NY on Saturday, March 25th at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
