Obituary of Doris F Cossman

Doris Frances (Holmes) Cossman, most recently of Apalachin, NY, and formerly of Mooresville, NC, went to be with the Lord at Wilson Hospital on Monday March 27, 2017. Doris was born on in Scranton, PA March 10, 1931 to the late Alfred and Frances Holmes. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Charles Cossman. She previously had worked at IBM and Wilson Hospital in the Tri-Cities area, and after moving to NC, she became an active member of the "Ladies in Pink" Auxiliary at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for 25 years. Doris is survived by her son Michael Cossman of Mooresville, NC and her daughter and son-in-law Donna and Chuck Greco of Apalachin, NY; her grandchildren Alicia and Joel Benjamin, James Nelson, and Charles, Peter, and Gerad Greco; and her great grandchildren Kenzy and Colby Benjamin, and James Nelson, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home on Route 434 in Apalachin, NY at 11am Friday March 31, Deacon Michael Donovan officiating. Family will receive friends at 10am prior to the service. Memorial donations can be made in her name at Castle Gardens Keepsake Village in Vestal, NY.
