Obituary of William Douglas Coleman, Jr.

William Douglas Coleman, Jr. (N2BC), 69, of Vestal, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Tydvil Day Coleman and Douglas Coleman. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lynn Coleman, his children; Daniel (LauraMarie) Coleman, Karen (Andrew) Cowell, Jeffrey (Tiffany) Coleman, 11 grandchildren, two sisters, Barbara (David) Loberger and Debra (Michael) Duringer, several nieces and nephews and his loving dog Daisy. Bill was an Amateur Radio Operator for 60 years and retired from IBM Corp. after 36 years of employment. The family will receive friends at the Little Meadows United Methodist Church, 328 Pennsylvania Ave., Little Meadows, PA on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. Private burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Broome County Dog Shelter, 110 Cutler Pond Rd., Binghamton, NY 13905 or to the American Cancer Society, 31 Adams Ave. Endicott, NY 13760 in memory of William Douglas Coleman , Jr.
