Obituary of David Arthur Darrow

David A. Darrow - Age 77. Born February 16, 1940. Passed away at Mercy House with his family by his side. Predeceased by mother, Marian Darrow, brother Bruce, Grandson Ryan, in laws Lewis & Ethel Birchard. Survived by beloved wife of 56 years, Connie, twin brother Dewitt of North Carolina, daughters, Kim (Brian) Hollister of Montrose, Lisa Wido (Tony Donson) of Endicott, sons, Kevin (Gee) of North Carolina, Michael (Lisa) of Endicott, David (Katharine) of North Carolina, Mark (Tanya) of North Carolina, 15 grandchildren, 7 ½ great grandchildren and his recliner buddy, Ginger. David graduated from Montrose Area High School, worked for 30 years at 1st City & Chase Bank, 10 years at Tioga State Bank. He was a member of the West Endicott Hose Company and a usher and auditor for Central United Methodist Church in Endicott. He never lost his sense of humor, Dave was a hard worker, he enjoyed hunting with his sons, camping with family, playing Pitch at Stu's and cards with the Vandermark's. He will be greatly missed by all. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Lourdes at Home Hospice, the exceptional staff and volunteers at Mercy House for their loving care and support. Pastor Steve for his weekly visits and prayers. Friends & family are invited to a Chapel Service, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11 am at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5 - 7 pm. Burial at Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell.
