Obituary of Charles Dean

Charles E. Dean, 74, of Endicott, NY went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 5, 2017 after a fight with illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda Dean, sons and daughter-in-laws Steven and Donna Dean, Johnny and Jennifer Angelo, son and girlfriend Michael Dean and Tara Dougherty, daughter Dori Dean and grandchildren Eric, Joseph, Skylar, Rilee, Austin and Isabella Dean, all of Endicott. He is also survived by his brothers and sister-in-laws Gary and Terri Deane of Chenango Bridge, NY, David and Cindy Deane of Greene, NY, JoAnn and Cathy Pero of Endicott, NY, as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Alice Deane and in-laws Angelo and Jean Pero. Charles served in Vietnam in the United States Army. Upon return from the war, he met Linda and they were married on July 11, 1970 at Grace Lutheran Church, where he was a long standing member. They just celebrated 47 years together. Charles owned and operated County Appliance Service until selling the business in the early 1980's to begin a new career in the trucking business, both as a short and long haul driver over the next 20+ years until retiring in 2004. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed. At Charles' request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
