Obituary of Linda Lee Dean

Endicott - Linda L. Dean, 70, of Endicott, NY went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 7, 2018 after a fight with illness. She was recently predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years Charles Dean. She is survived by her children, sons and daughters-in-law Johnny and Jennifer Angelo, Steven and Donna Dean, son and girlfriend Michael Dean and Tara Dougherty, daughter Dori Dean and grandchildren Eric, Joseph, Skylar, Rilee, Austin and Isabella Dean, all of Endicott. She is also survived by her sisters JoAnn and Cathy Pero of Endicott, NY and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gary and Terri Deane of Chenango Bridge, NY, David and Cindy Deane of Greene, NY, as well as, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Angelo and Jean Pero and in-laws Bernard and Alice Deane. Linda met Charles soon after his return from the Vietnam War, and they were married on July 11, 1970 at Grace Lutheran Church, where they were both long standing members. They just celebrated 47 years together. Linda was a hair stylist for nearly 40 years and a stay at home mother raising their children. She also worked part time as a waitress at Skylark Diner in Vestal, NY for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed. "Linda was a mother to her entire family. A mother is always with us, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memories and forever in our hearts" At Linda's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. In lieu of flowers or sympathy expressions, donations can be made in her name to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY, 13760.
