Obituary of Evelyn L Rittenhouse

Evelyn L. Rittenhouse, born Nov. 12, 1925 in Fern Glen Pa. died on Feb. 17, 2018 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her parents, three sisters, Hazel, Joyce, Lovey and her husband Kenneth Rittenhouse. Evelyn is survived by her brother Edgar, her four sons: Kenny, Dan, Greg, Bob and their wives, Hazel, Suzanne, Roberta and Kim. Six grandchildren: Holly, Lori, Michael, Adam, Morgan and Kevin. Evelyn has five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a caring and kind hearted woman that was well liked by all who knew her. She was completely devoted to her family, always stayed closely connected and cherished spending time with them. Evelyn lived in West Endicott for many years and worked at the Corner Drug store in Union where she made a positive impression on all her neighbors and customers. She later moved to Vestal Pines senior apartments and made some close friends there as well. Evelyn was a faithful founding member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Endwell . She will be dearly missed by her friends and loving family. Calling hours will be Wednesday Feb. 21st 11:00 – 12:30 at Our Savior Lutheran Church 731 Hooper Rd. Endwell , with a church service directly to follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in memory of Evelyn.
