Obituary of Shirley M Darrah

Apalachin - Shirley M. Darrah passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Johnson City. Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Bernard & Marion Smithka her husband Arthur "Pete", brother Bernard "Sonny"Smithka and son Calvin "Clem".Aunt Freda Webster. Survived by her children, Richard "Mike" & Colleen, Debbie & Don Russell, Patti & Don Ackley, Carol & Mike, Dana, Steve & Pat, Tom "Todd" & Susie, Jay, Doreen Gehret & Doug, Sue & William "Bill" Moran, Denise & Mark McLendon, and Eric. Also survived by 28 Grandchildren, 45 Great grandchildren, 3 Great great grandchildren, sister Beverly & Ronnie Latier, dear sister in law Connie Smithka, daughter in law Kathy Darrah, dear friends Cindy & John Skibitzki, Janet & Don Naus and Pat Cole, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her special German Shepherds, Jake & Trucker. Special thanks to Kyle Telfer, Apalachin Fire Dept, Campville Fire Dept, & Wilson Hospital. Family will receive friends, Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5 - 7 pm at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main Street, Vestal, NY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 1 pm at the Little Meadows Fire Station, Corner of Pennsylvania Ave & Maple Ave, Little Meadows, PA.
