Obituary of Ruth C. Brown

Ruth C. Brown Newark Valley - Ruth Christine Brown, 86, of Newark Valley, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 8th, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harold C. Brown and her children, Dawn (Brad) Coston of Jacksonville, FL; David (Brenda) Brown of Endicott, NY; Bobby Brown of Syracuse, NY; Kathy (Gregg) Cooper of Clarksville, TN; Sheri Titus of Pickerington, OH; Holly (Todd) Jacobs of Smithville Flats, NY; Steven (Michelle) Brown of Kirkwood, NY; Harold "Skip" Brown (Breanna) of Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law, Sanya Brown of Binghamton, NY. Ruth was also the proud grandmother of 30 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and also special friends, Art & Judy Boyle. While Ruth loved to work in her garden and crochet, she had an amazing gift for drawing and painting. She also loved dogs, especially Springer Spaniels, which led to her involvement in Springer rescue. Her dog, Tanner, was her special buddy and constant companion. Ruth always had a twinkle in her eyes. Her smile was contagious. She was always doing things for the people she loved. She will be forever missed. A celebration of Ruth's amazing life will be scheduled at a future date.
