Obituary of Michele Kennicutt

Michele on June 17, 2018, went to be with our Lord after a lengthy illness. Michele was preceded by her parents; Donald and Mary Vanderbeck. Michele is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Kennicutt, and loving son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Esther Kennicutt, her mother-in-law, Dawn Kennicutt, sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Ralph DiLello, and her brother-in-law Gerald Kennicutt. Michele earned a degree from SUNY Binghamton and worked at Broome Developmental Center, where she cared for children with disability for 30 years. As a caring and generous person, she also had many loving friends and enjoyed traveling, in particular trips to Seneca Lake, and shopping. Michele always loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all the lives she had touched because she was a a very loving wife, mother and friend. The services will be held at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Vestal on Thursday, June 21st at 11:00 a.m. in her memory to welcome her to our Lord Savior. Any donations will be given to the Humane Society, for her love of animals including her basset hounds Katie, Kody, and Kal, or to the New Hope Presbyterian Church where her memorial service will be held.
