Obituary of Carol A. Sovinsky

Carol A. Sovinsky Apalachin - Carol Ann Sovinsky, age 72, of Apalachin, passed away Sunday morning, July 15, 2018, at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Dorothy Hilton. She is survived by her husband, Gary; daughters and their spouses, Karen and Craig Bergmann, Owego, NY, Lisa and Bill King, Skaneateles, NY, Amy and Weston Smith, Spencerport, NY; seven grand-children, Nicole (fiancé Keegan Evans), CJ, Jenna Bergmann, Jessica (King) DiPonzio, Andrew King, Lucas, Caleb Smith, great grand-child, Aiden King; sister-in-law, Sharon Peale, Raleigh, NC; nieces, Tara (Ryan)Deans, Kyle Coleman, Raleigh, NC; nephew, Jason (Jennifer) Coleman, West Palm Beach, FL; and several cousins, Roger, Edith and Janice and their spouses of Ogdensburg, NY. Carol left this life on her terms, when she was ready, never giving up to her illness until the end. Carol passed in peace with Gary by her side holding hands. Carol and Gary celebrated their 53rd Anniversary on July 5, 2018. Gary and Carol's daughters want to recognize their father's dedication, commitment, and care of their mother during their 53 years of marriage. Carol's passion was for her children and grand-children. She adored them for their love of family and for their talent and success. All had a special place in her heart. Her delight was her home. She made it a wonderful loving place which she decorated and loved to renovate. A private celebration and remembrance of Carol will be for family members on Saturday July 21.
