Obituary of Sandra Sue Lapp

Apalachin - Sandra Sue Lapp, 75, of Apalachin, NY was surrounded by her loving family as she entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 22, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Margie Patton, as well as her brothers, Bernard Jr. and Frederick Patton. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, David, of 54 years; her children Sharon (Ken) Faulk of Aliquippa, PA, Michelle (Chris) Lewis of Apalachin, NY, and Jeffrey (Melissa) Lapp of Binghamton, NY; and her seven precious grandchildren Shawn (Rachel), Joshua (Lindsey), Jarred, Tyler, Caleb, Evan, and Emma. Sue was totally devoted to her Lord and to her family, faithfully serving others every opportunity she had. Always nurturing, she was a foster mom and provided a loving home for seven infants over the years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Vestal, NY for 42 years where she served as a Sunday School teacher, AWANA leader, youth leader, and Deaconaide. She had a heart for the hurting and loved to spend time encouraging widows and young mothers. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who lovingly cared for Sue at Hilltop Nursing Center, as well as her dear friend and caretaker, Bonnie.
