Lydia M. Wark of Johnson City
Lydia M. Wark, 72, of Johnson City, died Monday, September 29, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Maynard; and a daughter, Lydia. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Maynard and Judy Wark, Jr., Binghamton; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Paul Overby, Endicott; grandchildren, Stephanie and Bryan Wark, Sarah, Taylor, and Christopher Overby; and a great-grandson, Charles Maxson. She is survived by brothers and sisters, John and Deb Breon, Earl and Josephine Breon, Helen Corder and companion, Ernie, Midge and Robert Burress, Ruthie Pierce and companion, Gary; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bernice and Richard Silvernail, Iris and Ralph Severcool, Jeanette Wark, and William and Margie Wark; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her favorite companion, Muffie. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Owego.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Timothy R. Bennett, Pastor of the Main Street Baptist Church, Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Tioga Center Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 5 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m.
