Obituary of Joseph Patrick Krawczyk

Endicott - Joseph Patrick Krawczyk of Endicott, NY, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2018, at the age of 72. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Krawczyk, and his brother, Edward. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dolores Krawczyk, his daughters, Melissa Krawczyk Gilligan (David Gilligan) and Tatum Krawczyk Heegaard (Eric Heegaard), his sister Mary Anne Majkut, his sister- in- law, Gloria Hecht, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Joe served in the U.S Air force from 1965-1968. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and received his Masters in Computer Science from Syracuse University. In 2002, Joe retired from 29 years of employment at IBM. He enjoyed golfing, playing horseshoes for the Russian Club and being an Elk. Calling hours will be Thursday, 9/13, from 4-7 pm at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home (Endicott). The Funeral mass will be Friday, 9/14, at 10 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (Endicott). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's honor to the American Heart Association or Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation.
