Obituary of Gladys R. King

Endicott - Gladys R. King, 102, went to her heavenly home on October 3, 2018. She was a life-long resident of Endicott, NY. Gladys was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Kathryn Bennett, husband, Philip J. King, son, Rev. Thomas B. King, son-in-law, Sam Crooks. Also grandchildren, Rachel Titus and Brent King, great granddaughter, Kathryn R. Wurth. Surviving are her children, Carolyn (Rev. David) Titus, Benny King, Jeanie Crooks King and daughter-in-law, Joyce King. Also 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Gladys loved the Lord and faithfully served Him until she was 98. Special thanks to Dr. Lisa Newman, and her Lourdes hospice aide, Joanne, and Chaplain, Steve Doyle. Funeral services will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Friday at 3 p.m. with her nephew, Rev. Brian King officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760, in memory of Gladys R. King.
