Obituary of James Larry LaDue

Windsor - James Larry LaDue (60), of Windsor (NY), died on December 21, 2018. Loving father of five: son Daniel LaDue (TN), daughter Mindy and Timothy Bundy (VA), son Christopher and Brittany LaDue (WA), daughter Renée LaDue and Timothy Lunardoni (UK), and son Shane LaDue (NY). Affectionate grandfather of 14 grandchildren who knew him as "Opa", and great-grandfather of one. James is also survived by his mother, Linda LaDue, and his four siblings: Vicki, Brian, Debra and Kevin. Fondly remembered by family and friends as "Sgt Rock", James was a US Army Combat Veteran, Staff Sergeant (SSG), whose humor and strength will be his enduring legacy. He was most happy when hunting or fishing, and his children called him "the great white hunter". James will be laid to rest at Vestal Hills Memorial Park with a graveside service on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. There, he will join his father, Jimmy LaDue (d. January 8, 2017), and other members of his extended family. Details of the service may be found by contacting Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home closer to the date.
