Steve and Connie, I am so saddened to see this in the paper, but at the same time I am so amazed at all the things that Matt has done. I knew he would do great things from what I knew when we last worked together many years ago. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Steve, Connie and family, My deepest condolences to everyone. I just can’t imagine what you are going through losing Matt at such a young age. Getting through the loss of a loved one takes time and everyone’s journey to healing is so unique. As Helen Keller said, “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose; all that we deeply love becomes a part of us.” Matt sense of humor, his desire to find solutions to problems and share his knowledge with everyone, his love of photography and his creative mind will always be remembered. Connie and Steve, I am shocked and heartbroken over the loss of your beloved son Matt. I fondly remember him as Keith's classmate and OM teammate.His obituary is such a glowing tribute and testimony to his extraordinary talents. He was so brilliant and accomplished so much in his short time here on earth. You are in my thoughts and prayers. A contribution in his name has been made to the Broome County Humane Society.

Steve and Connie, my deepest sympathies on your loss. I cannot imagine the pain that you feel as we never think that we would lose a child at any age. I do know of the great love that you have for Matt and that will help you through this terrible time. How proud you were of your son and all that he was doing. I am sure that you will always have him in your hearts and minds until you meet up with him at a later time. When the days seem the darkest think of one of his funniest moments and remember him as he was, a great son!

We are so extremely sad to learn about Matt’s passing. I have great memories of an extraordinary cousin who was so creative (lazerstars) and loved puns! All the news of his successes in his adult life that were relayed to us by Mom (Aunt Trish) were no surprise as, of course, he was destined to create something earthshaking. We will miss him.
