Obituary of Josephine A. Kunzman

Endicott - Josephine A. Kunzman (nee Krmenec), 95, died peacefully January 23, 2021 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert D., in 2001. She is survived by 6 children - John (Bonnie), Kathleen, Mark (Mary), Barbara (Peter), Robert F. (Diane), and Joanne (Patrick); 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as a sister, Helen, and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from UE in 1943, married her handsome next door neighbor, Bob, in 1946, and raised a family while they developed a popular picnic area turned campground (Pine Valley). She was the original neighborhood watch, regularly confronting "parkers" at remote areas on the road near their home. In recent years, she enjoyed lunches at Wendy's with her many senior friends until a pandemic halted that. She was quick witted, sassy, and very much loved, and will be missed. Services will be private with a memorial to be held at a later date.
