Obituary of Valerie R. Norris

Valerie R. Norris, 67, of Endwell, fell asleep in the arms of the Lord, on Sunday February 14, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents; Paul and Marjorie Desko and her brother Philip Desko. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jack Norris, brother, Kim Desko, sister-in-law, Eva Norris, and several cousins. Valerie loved knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Old Forge, NY. She was a nurse for many years and retired from Price Chopper. Valerie was a loving wife who will be deeply missed. A funeral service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, NY, on Tuesday February 23, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Valerie can be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212, N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
