Obituary of Frederick J Durfee

Frederick J. Durfee, 64, of Endicott passed away on February 25, 2021. Fred graduated from UEHS in 1975. He joined the West Corners Fire Department in 1974, and was a life member, serving as chief from 1994-1997. He was an Employee of the Town of Union from 1977 until retiring in 2021, and was an active member of the CSEA. He also worked as Sam's Club until his retirement. Fred is predeceased by his parents Clyde and Esther Durfee. He is survived by his Son Brett (Kim); Daughter Brianna (Mike) Pompey; Sister Susan (Brian) Haight; Sister Marcia (David) Honsaker; grandchildren Natalie and Kiersten Godoy, Mason and Austin Durfee; Donna, Eric, Justin, Ryan Hyde; Many nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; many friends who are more like family at Brennan Beach and the Town of Union. The family will be celebrating Fred's life on what would have been his 65th birthday, on Saturday, March 6th, 2021. Calling hours will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home in Endicott from 11am-2pm. Masks will be required and social distancing must be observed.
