Obituary of Howard Stoddard

Howard W. Stoddard Jr. went peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior March 26/2021.He was born June 13/1927 He was predeceased by his parents Ethel (House) and Howard W Stoddard Sr.; sister Margaret Stoddard (Cole), and Brother Byron Stoddard. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Florence Stoddard (Spry) and their children Susan E Stoddard (Jim), Howard W Stoddard (Susan) and John C Stoddard (Shelly), 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He served in the Pacific during WW11 abord the USS Kershaw joining the ranks of the "greatest generation" and then spent many years working at the Union Forging Co. Howard was a lifelong member of the West Endicott Baptist Church and a loving Grampa to all his grand and great grandchildren and left us all with a cherished legacy. The family will receive friends at the West Endicott Baptist Church Birdsall at Mills Street 3/31/21 11:00 -12:30 with a service to follow. Interment will be at Vestal Hills Cemetery following the service. "Fair Winds and Following Seas" In lieu of flowers send donations in memory of Howard to Wounded Warriors Project.org
