Obituary of John J Schneider

John J. Schneider, 65, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He was predeceased by his mother, Jean Schneider, brother, Joseph Schneider, father-in-law, Leo DiTommaso, brother-in-law, Dean DiTommaso, and sister-in-law, Ann DiTommaso. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Roxanne Schneider, children; Kaitlyn Schneider and Robert Schneider, granddaughter, Hannah, his father, Joseph Schneider, brothers; Dennis (Eileen) Schneider, William (Maureen) Schneider, Thomas Schneider, mother-in-law, Julia DiTommaso, and several aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and cousins. John was the Director of Business Solutions at Ascent Global Logistics. He was involved in the trucking logistics industry his entire career and was a mentor in his field. He was business savvy helping others get started in their careers. John was involved with the BC Open and Dicks Open running security and the tents. He enjoyed watching all genres of movies with his family, and his great love of music brought him to many local concerts, and those on the big stage. John was a huge NY Giants fan, NY Mets fan and a golf fan who loved playing in his league at En-Joie Golf Course. He was a beloved softball and baseball coach of his children and their teammates. He was always volunteering his time to charities, community events and fundraisers. John would always say his most important accomplishment in life was his children. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son who will be deeply missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 W. Main St., Endicott, on Friday April 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. Livestream link is https://youtu.be/1cNr0JOco4A. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing can make memorial contributions to pancan.org, divinemercy.org, or aspca.org., in memory of John J.
