Obituary of Charles E. Ackley

Charles Ackley Maine, NY Charles Ackley Sr., 69 aka "Chuck" and "Papa" passed away unexpectedly on April 7th 2021. He was predeceased by his father Fred, mother Leah, sister Francine, brother Richard and beloved son Patrick. Charlie is survived by his wife Christine, son Charlie Jr., stepdaughters Lori (Bill), Denice, Nicole, Kelly and their mother Mary who was a good friend. His brothers Bobby, Kevin and Fred, sisters-in-law Catherine, JulieAnn and brother-in-law Donald. Charlie was "Papa" to Josh, Hannah, Brittnee, Kody, Abagale, Jordan, Tallon and his special little buddy Landyn. Charlie was a long time employee of the Union Forging Company, an avid hunter, loved his Nascar races and the New York Giants and would find any reason to hop on his Harley for a ride. He will be deeply missed by his family and several close friends. There will be no services per his request. The family will have a celebration of life at later date not yet determined.
