Age:82, Born May 4th, 1938 in Endicott, NY
Died at home surrounded by his loving family and his dog, Mary.
Predeceased by Carl and Myfanwy Kannenberg (parents) and his sister Charlotte Parks.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Helga, son Paul (Michelle, Misty and Remy), Daughter Kimberly (Lori Blomstrom), sister Linda Shea (James and John Shea) nephew, Ted Parks, and niece Meta Parks as well as many cousins.
Affiliations: Graduate of Vestal High School (1957), proudly served his country in the United States Army, worked for the Northeastern Breeders Association, Dairylea, and Bewital. He was a director for Claverack Electric, Tioga Energy and Citizens Electric. He was a Township Supervisor for Apolacon Township.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.
Don was stationed in Munich, Germany where he met and married his wife, Helga. They eventually moved to Little Meadows and raised their two children as well as operating a farm which included sheep and cattle. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Donald's life at the Little Meadows Fire Station on May 8th, 2:00 p.m.
Those who wish may kindly consider a memorial contribution to the Little Meadows Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad in lieu of flowers.
