Obituary of Marie J Lusht
Endicott - Marie Lusht, 95, of Endicott.
The greatest lady in the world passed away last week. Marie Lusht left this life on Tuesday, April 20. She was 95 years old. Born Jennie Marie Felter to her father, Jacob Felter, and her mother, Ida (Ruff) Felter, Marie lived all of her life in Endicott. She graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 1943, and was married to her husband, Edward, in 1949. They were married for 61 years, until his death in 2010. They had 4 children together (Edward Jr., Gary, Suzanne, and Judy). Along with her children, she is survived by her 6 grandchildren (Derek [Josie] Lusht, Kristen Lusht, Russell [Monika] Camp, Kim [Alyssa] Camp, Matthew Lusht, Sara Murphy, and Joseph Van Kuren), plus 11 great grandchildren, including her special buddy, Mara. Marie is predeceased by her husband, her siblings (Catherine Phelps, Donald Felter, and Richard Felter), and her beloved kitty, Frankie. She was employed by The Keypunch Center in Endicott, retiring after many years of service. Marie was always there for her children and grandchildren. They knew they could come to visit her, or even stay with her, whenever they wanted. Just walk in the door and she'd be happy to see you. Her love was an unconditional one. It is a great thing to have a person in your life who will always be on your side, always ready to help you in any way possible. That was Marie. She loved the Adirondacks, BINGO, jigsaw puzzles, and Columbo. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be from 10:00-11:00am, on Tuesday, April 27, at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC. in Endicott. A private service will follow.
