Obituary of Eva M Warfle

Eva M. (Kannenberg) Warfle of LeRaysville, PA and Vestal, NY Eva Marie Warfle, 83, of LeRaysville, PA and Vestal, NY, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2009, at Wilson Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. Eva was born in Binghamton, NY to Edward and Emma Kannenberg. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Kannenberg; and sister, Mildred (Frank) Bogady; husband, Walter; and son, Grant. She is survived by her children: Oliver Warfle, Snoqualmie, WA, Elsie (Clayton) Lantz, LeRaysville, PA, George (Nancy) Warfle, Warren Center, PA, Howard Warfle, LeRaysville, PA, and Jill Reynolds (fiance, Chris Carrican); grandsons, Brian Lantz, Tyler and Travis Parkhurst; sisters-in-law, Bernice Warfle, Adele Warfle, and Peggy Warfle; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eva found her greatest joys in her children, grandchildren and her unwavering faith in God. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff and residents of Woodland Manor for their gracious hospitality towards Mom, the staff of Vestal Nursing Home for their loving care and also the staff at Wilson Hospital for making Mom comfortable in her last hours. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. from Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal, NY, with a period of visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
