Obituary of Karen Marie Schares

Karen M. Schares 1957-2021 Karen Marie Schares passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021. She was a kind and intuitive woman who was always willing to speak her mind. She was a warm and loving Mother and Oma. A generous friend and a gifted artist. As a longtime nurse, Karen touched the lives of many people. She made a deep impression on all who knew her and will be greatly missed by many. She wanted us all to know how blessed she felt "to have her children - Brien, Kelly, and Cara, and her 'best boy' Sullivan", her grandchild, in her life. She would want us to keep smiling and know that she is smiling back at us from a beautiful place. Karen's family will be receiving friends and loved ones on Sunday, August 22nd from 1pm to 4pm at Coleman & Daniels Funeral home, 6519 Rt. 434 in Apalachin.
