Lawrence Douglas French of Endicott went home to be with his Lord on March 31, 2022, surrounded by his beloved family.

Larry married his loving wife Fran in 1954 and enjoyed 67 years of marriage. They share 4 children, Mark, Anthony (Tony), Michael and Lori.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Leon, his brothers Bob, Willis, Keith and Michael, brother-in-law Michael Corcoran, mother-in-law Katherine Sheehan and father-in-law William Sheehan.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Fran (Sheehan); his sons Mark (Deborah), Anthony (Renee) and Michael (Lynda); his daughter Lori (Randy); his grandchildren Nicholas, Jason (Courtney), Kyle, Brandon (Leah), Leah (Jake), Christopher (Jacqueline), Kelly (Frank), Courtney (Kyle) and Alexis (Mario); his great-grandchild Raleigh, Rogan, Sylvie, Riley and Emmie; his sisters Gloria Corcoran, Betty (David) Wells, Sharon (Harry) Dodge, and Linda (lee) Osborne; sisters-in-law Dorothy and Nancy French, brother-in-law William (Sandra) Sheehan and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Larry was a graduate of Union Endicott High School where he developed his artistic skills and love for "hot-rodding." Larry retired from IBM and spent the next 34 years enjoying hobbies such as gardening, painting, drawing, going to car shows and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Larry was a devoted husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His family brought him much happiness, which he documented in endless pictures, now cherished by his family. He was at every sporting event, recital, graduation, and important event to show his love and support. You could find him outside gardening, playing with his grandchildren, taking drives, and reading the paper every single day.
Larry was a special man and will be missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the Mueller family and neighbor Chuck Smith for their help and love over the years. The family also extends a special thank you to Denise from hospice for her special care for Larry at the end of his life.
A private service will be held for the family. Larry will be laid to rest in Maine Cemetery.
