Obituary of Robert E Smithgall

Robert E. Smithgall Endicott 82, Bob (Smitty) passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022 at Mercy House surrounded by his loving family. Bob was predeceased by his parents Paul & Marie Smithgall and his brother Richard. He is survived by his loving wife Sheila, his daughter Kim and son Michael; his step daughters Michelle (Butch) Smith, Tricia Wooden, Renee Dean, Robin Dean; his grandchildren Colette, Ryan, Brianna, Alexis, Ty and great-grandson Gio. Bob grew up in Endicott and graduated from Union Endicott High School and Utica College. He was employed by the Federal Government, Office of the Comptroller. Bob enjoyed his Sunday dinners with his family and loved playing cards with his friends. Bob will be remembered for his love of sports and their annual BC Open party. We will be having a Celebration of Life at Kelly's Sports Bar, 12 N Page Ave, Endicott on April 23, 2022, 1pm – 4pm.
