Obituary of Bernard L Shaver

Bernard L Shaver - Little Meadows,PA - Bernard L. Shaver, Sr., of Little Meadows, PA, was born on February 15, 1951, and passed away from a long, courageous battle with prostate cancer on April 10, 2022. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Donna; his children, Kelly (Chris), Bernie Jr. (Lisa), Scott (Christine), Connie (Jake), and Kellie (Paul); his grandchildren, Sarah (John), Danica (Chris), Tarryn, Brendon, Jillian, Desiray, Christian, Pauly, Raymond, and Anthony; his great-grandchildren, Ava and Zoee; his sisters, Bessie (Dave) and Judy (Bernie); his brother, Corky (Carolyn); his sister-in-law, Donna Kay; the mother of his children and friend, Pat Cole; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Harold, Lyle, Lucy, David (Mary), and Shirley (Mike); his two cats, Baby Girl and Bootsy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bernie is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Beatrice (Saddlemire); his brothers, Lou and Kenny; and his sisters, Donna and Shirley. Bernie worked at MLI Industries, Felchar Manufacturing, and Murphy's Steel, along with multiple part-time jobs. His favorite pastime was taking long trips riding his motorcycle. He loved tinkering on tractors, trucks, and various other things. If anyone needed anything fixed or welded, he would fix it for them. He was most proud of the little car that he built to tow behind his bike. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, April 15th at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main Street, Vestal. The service will be held at 4:00 PM.
