Obituary of Joseph R. Ferrese
Joseph R. Ferrese, Endicott - It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Joseph R. Ferrese (Endicott) on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the age of 83. He is now reunited with his beloved bride, Helen, whom he has missed dearly for the past almost 4 years. He is also predeceased by his daughter Carol and his two sisters, Gloria and Dorothy. Joseph is survived by his loving daughters, Ellen Ferrese Polmateer and son-in-law David (Endicott), Barbara Ferrese (Endicott), Dawn Mcgurl, (Dunmore, PA) and Tina Richard (Oregon). He will lovingly be remembered by his dearest grandchildren, Amanda Avery (Ryan) Endicott, Joseph Polmateer (Melanie) New Bern, NC and Kymberly James (Ian) Binghamton. He leaves behind but will always watch over his beloved great grandchildren, Hailey Grace Avery, Carter Polmateer, Ellie Monroe James, Ryley Avery, Jack James and Baby Polmateer. Also, he leaves many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and family. The family would also like to thank Doug and Janet Goodrich and girls for the care they offered and for treating him like family. Joe was an extraordinary, brilliant man who was loved, respected and will be fondly remembered by all who met him. He helped build and connect the nation in his work of engineering and designing many of the technologies we use today. He had a passion for what he did. Joe also loved to golf, bowl, and he loved going to the casinos and playing the horses. Joe was an avid Yankees and Giants fan, but most of all he loved his family above all. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Coleman and Daniel's Funeral Home LLC, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott, NY from 10am to 11am with a memorial service at 11am officiated by Deacon Tom Harley.
