Obituary of Samuel McKeeman

Samuel H. McKeeman of Vestal Samuel H. McKeeman, 99, of Vestal, passed away Friday, November 20, 2009, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He will be reunited in Heaven with his loving parents, Samuel H. and Annie B. (Carroll) McKeeman; and his brothers, Austin McKeeman, Daniel McKeeman, James McKeeman and Fred McKeeman. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Doris McKeeman. He is survived by his loving sister, Mary O. (McKeeman) Johnson of Vestal, and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Bethesda Lodge AF&AM of Watertown, MA. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked many years for Hood Milk Co. and the Table Talk Pie Co. in North Boston. He retired to spend his winters in St. Petersburg, FL and his summers in Vestal. He was full of fun and always had a rhyme or a song for his young nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at North Tower three at Wilson Memorial Hospital for their excellence in care and compassion, and the staff at Castle Gardens Keepsake Village for all their care. Honoring his wishes, he will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester, MA following a graveside service on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
