Obituary of Milo Martin Brunick, Sr.

Milo Martin Brunick, Sr., age 86, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born June 21, 1936 in Endicott, NY, son of the late Milo Brunick and Dorothy Brunick. In addition to his parents, Milo was preceded in death by his two sisters, Dorothy (Tootie) Gibbons and Virginia (Ginger) Wheeler; his in-laws, Winfred and Grace Green; bothers-in-law, Frank Sacco and James (Jim) Malane and a four-legged grand pup, Bailey Tomassi. Milo is survived by his beautiful and compassionate wife of 60 years, Barbara Brunick; daughter Kim (Kimmy) Tomassi of Philadelphia, PA; son and daughter-in-law, Milo Brunick Jr. and Maria Fitzgerald of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, Camden Milo Brunick, Nolan David Brunick and McKenna Grace Brunick; two sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law, Joan Sacco, Beverly Malane and Ron Green; several devoted nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and golf partners, all of whom he loved dearly. Milo graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 1954, and attended SUNY Broome Community College. He worked at IBM Endicott/IBM Glendale for 36 years before retiring at the age of 56, allowing him to enjoy the most important things he cherished; traveling, golfing and spending special times with his wife Barbara, family and friends. Those left behind are lucky to have many incredible memories of Milo (Bampa) that will bring smiles and laughter for years to come. Milo was a United States Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 1700 and the Elks Lodge (Endicott), and a loyal parishioner of Saint Ambrose Church. He holds the distinction of being a member of the elusive "Hole in One Club" ! A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave. Endicott, on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, on Friday September 23, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.colemananddaniels.com.
