Obituary of Ruth P. Johnson

Ruth Johnson of Vestal Ruth Johnson, 86, of Vestal, NY, passed away on December 26, 2009 at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandy Haider; and her mother, Helen Martin. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Johnson; two daughters, Patricia Haley, Endwell, Donna (Robert) Lynch, Binghamton; two sons, Ben (Carolyn) Fletcher, Arizona, and Richard (Renée) Fletcher, NC. She loved her grandchildren, Richard (Brenda) Haley, Joe (Jen) Haley, Raymond (Christy) Mireider, Tim (Janet) Fletcher, Jenny (Darin), Bobbie-Jo Orshall, Jeff Lynch, Lisa (Derek) Baker, NC and Mike (Dana) Fletcher, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Nancy, Linda and Anne Marie for taking care of her at home. Also thank you to Dr. Malik and nurse Chris. A heartfelt thank you to all who gave our Mother such special care at Willow Point Nursing Home. Funeral Services for Ruth will be held on 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with her grandson, Timothy Fletcher, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive their friend at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of service.
