David Brazinski of Endicott, NY,
David Brazinski, 73, passed away peacefully at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal, NY on October 29, 2022 due to complications of Alzheimer's disease. He is predeceased by his mother Viola Gauthier Brazinski, his father Edwin J. Brazinski and his sister-in-law Joan Brazinski.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn (Learn) Brazinski, Endicott, NY, his son Scott (Randi) Brazinski, his daughter Kristin (David Lopez) Brazinski Tully, NY, Granddaughter Millie Brazinski, Seattle, WA, his brother Douglas Brazinski Rome, NY, sister–in-laws Susan (Frank) Bennett Chemung, NY, Ginny (Jon) Fust Raybrook, NY, and his little buddy Max. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
David was born in Utica, NY in 1949. He graduated from Syracuse University (Utica College) in 1972 and pursued a career in Television Broadcasting working at WUTR-TV (Utica, NY), WCFE-TV (Plattsburgh, NY), WBNG-TV (Binghamton, NY) and WIVT-TV (Binghamton, NY). During his career in television he covered the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid and won several broadcasting awards. After a career change in 1991 he retired from computer services at Union Endicott Schools in 2014. David played the guitar in bands in his youth, and still loved to play as an adult. He enjoyed boating, fishing, kayaking, and traveling, especially to see his kids.
The family would like to thank all of the loving, caring staff at his second home, West Wing at Willow Point Nursing Home. They were blessed with the wonderful love and care that he received there for the last 4 years.
