Obituary of Florence E. Stoddard

Florence E. Stoddard, 90, of Vestal, N.Y. passed into the arms of her Savior 11/28/2022. She was born February 2, 1932. She was predeceased by her parents Sadie, Harry Spry and her husband Howard W. Stoddard Jr., and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children; Susan E. Stoddard (Jim), Howard Stoddard III (Sue), John Stoddard (Shelly), brother John Spry (Polly), 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Florence was a longtime member of the West Endicott Baptist Church where she taught many children as a Sunday School teacher. Her life's passion was being the Aquatic's Director at Westover YMCA teaching a variety swim classes. For her many years of service at the YMCA they dedicated the Natatorium in her name. Florence was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandmother she gave her love to us in abundance. The family will receive friends at the West Endicott Baptist Church, 515 W. Wendall Street, Endicott, N.Y., Friday, December 2, 2022 from 10:00-11:30 memorial service will follow. Interment will be held at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Life Choices Center, 93 Oak Street Binghamton, N.Y. 13905. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Beechtree Nursing Center for the loving care they gave Florence.
