Obituary of Walter I Birchard

Walter Irving Birchard, age 88, of Vestal New York went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Vestal Park in the care of his loving family and friends. Walter was predeceased by his wife Marie of 57 years. Survived by his four children Mark and Debbie Birchard of Apalachin, NY; Terri and Randy Bollinger Sevierville, TN; Denise and John Dribnak of Vestal, NY; Brian and Kristin Birchard of Berkshire, NY grandchildren: Shawn (Patty Birchard); Todd (Karen) Birchard; Casandra (Kevin) Colburn; Shannon (Eric) Lotz; Colleen (Kenny) Rosser; Jessica (Brian) Barlow; Megan Gilbride and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Walt loved traveling, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Walt was retired from IBM. A memorial service for Walt will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main Street, Vestal. Pastor Nathanae Benner, Union Center Christian Church will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
