Obituary of Theresa A. Patterson

Theresa (Dolly) Patterson, 86, of Endicott, NY died peacefully January 4th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Patterson and her son-in-law, Edward Menhennett, Jr. Dolly is survived by her children, Dr. Robert Patterson (Lindsay Pine), Theresa Menhennett, and Carol Patterson-Cassin (Tom Cassin). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Caitlin Collins, Brianna Caprari (Jason Harrington), Melanie, Noelle, and Daniel Patterson, Emily and Brendan Cassin, and Gabe Weiler (Kendra); Sister, Carol Kucera of Arizona and Brother, Robert Furlong (Marlene) of Pennsylvania; Great-grandchildren, Cayden and Nolan. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dolly was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and then moved to Endicott with her husband Robert. She was a retired reflexologist and worked with many clients out of her home. She is a former member of American Legion Post 82 and BPOE 1977 of Endicott. Dolly was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and spent most nights playing Bingo. She was a shining example of love and integrity for all who knew her. When we reflect on all she overcame in her life, we are awestruck by her unwavering love and strength. She was our rock, and our biggest cheerleader and we will miss her immensely. We would like to thank the staff of Ideal Nursing Home who cared for her a few times in the last couple of years. We would also like to thank the staff on M6 at Binghamton General Hospital and the private caregivers who have helped us care for her over the years. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC., 300 E. Main Street, Endicott. Deacon Tom Harley will officiate. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday from 11:00am until service time at 1pm.
