Obituary of Shirley A. Davis

Shirley A. Davis, 89, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2023. She is predeceased by the love of her life, Michael Scanlan and parents, Fred and Lillian Wells. She is survived by her sons, Brad Davis and Jamie Davis; daughters, Tami Fitzpatrick and Patti Hopewell; grandchildren, Christina, Jason and Kevin Davis, Crystal Self and Louis Hopewell; and great-grandchildren, Breese and Tanner Burlingame, Ash and Ivy Davis, Declan Davis and Faylynn Self. sisters; Lee Wickwire, Anita Fragle, Fern Fiori, brother, Roger Wells. Shirley was a graduate of Fulton High School and moved to the Triple Cities (Vestal) where she worked for the Transportation Department since 1969 as a bus driver and monitor. Shirley was a professional singer, singing in a USO Unit at different camps and a song every week in a theatre, on radio and T.V. She was an avid deer hunter and book reader. She loved doing things with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main Street, Vestal, NY 13850 on Thursday, January 19th from 3-4pm.
