Obituary of John L Cichostepski

John Luke Cichostepski, age 44, of Endicott, NY It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we announce that our beloved John gained his wings on May 10, 2023 and is off to skateboard in heaven. He was welcomed by Grandma Peanut Butter (Arlene Spisak) and his K-9 best friend, Julie. John is survived by his loving wife and best friend Melissa, parents Jean-Claude and Linda Cichostepski, brother and wife Ryan and Kate Cichostepski, sister Laura Cichostepski, mother and father-in-law Lon and Donna Jones, brother-in-law Lon C. Jones, Godparents Frank Bokal Jr. and Sharon Gauthier, along with a loving extended family and community of friends. John and Melissa loved spending time playing board games together and enjoying many adventures in the Adirondacks, especially the Lake George region. John was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be in nature. You could find him either fishing or riding his bicycle with every opportunity he had. He also enjoyed watching bad B-movies, going to live music events, and listening to records on his stereo. John loved to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh, which he did often, under all circumstances. John's sense of humor was the highlight of every gathering. "It's me, Johnnie!" The family will receive family and friends at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home 765 Main St, Vestal, NY 13850 on Wednesday, May 17 from 4-7 p.m. for calling hours.
