Obituary of Nancy J. Myers

Nancy Jane Myers, 94, of Apalachin, New York passed peacefully through the veil of life to be with her Lord on August 17, 2023. Nancy was born in Youngstown, Ohio May 19, 1929 and grew up in East Liverpool, Ohio. She spent her married life in Alliance, Ohio and then moved to Apalachin, New York. She is predeceased by her husband of twenty-eight years, William Myers. Her love of life and art was an inspiration to her children and their partners: her son, David Lee Myers and Barbara Dartley, New York City, her daughter, Barbara Myers and Francine V. Notte, Apalachin, New York, and her daughter, Martha Bergstein and Richard Dailey, Athens, Ohio. Her grandchildren, Larry McCoy and Angela McCoy, Beloit, Ohio, William Bergstein, Athens, Ohio, Samantha Hnytka-Bergstein and Marc Hnytka-Bergstein, Columbus, Ohio. Her great- grandchildren, Ariona Miller, Pleasantville, Ohio, Brooklin McCoy, Beloit, Ohio, and Johnathan McCoy, Beloit, Ohio. Nancy was a gifted portraiture artist who worked in watercolors, oils and pastels. She was known for her amazing talent as well as her warmth and loving acceptance of all people. She was a true Christian and will be missed by all who knew her. Her ashes will be laid to rest in Alliance, Ohio, beside her husband, William Myers, with arrangements being handled by Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott, New York. A gathering of friends and family is planned for the end of September, 2023 to celebrate her extraordinary and giving life. Please consider a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.
