Obituary of Barbara Ann (Krum) DeMoney

Barbara Ann (Krum) DeMoney, 84, of Vestal NY passed away peacefully at Bridgewater Nursing Home on October 24, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, Linda and Darwin Krum, and her husband, Ralph Duane DeMoney, Jr. She is survived by her only daughter and favorite son-in-law, Barb (DeMoney) & Brian Smith, three grandchildren, Neil DeMoney and Conner and Kyla Smith, her daughter-in-law, Jan Walker and her bonus grandchildren, Stacey (John) Beauregard, Eric (Nikki) Thomas, Sharon (Jules) Caye, and Michael Thomas. She is also survived by her best friend since first grade, Bev Kephart and Bev's husband and children. Barbara worked for Wilson Hospital for thirty years, and then went on to work another fifteen years at Home Goods. Barb was a ray of sunshine, always smiling no matter the circumstance. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a caring, generous heart. She was always known to bake a cake for coworker's birthdays and send a card for every occasion. Barbara will be greatly missed by all. She loved God and was a wonderful example of his love and kindness. All are invited to join us for calling hours on Sat, Nov 4th from 10am – 11am, followed by a funeral service from 11am – 12pm at Grace Point Church in Vestal, 3701 Old Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY.
