Obituary of Lorraine L. Brown

Lorraine L. Brown 90, 3/21/1933 - 12/25/2023 Jesus took her home on Christmas morning. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Pearl Slater, Brother Richard Slater, Grandsons Richard Brown and Tyler Brown. Lorraine is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald Brown of Apalachin, NY, sons Donald (Mick) Brown (Cathy), Jeffrey Brown (Katalin), Steven Brown (Donna Margetson) and Gregg Brown (Pamela). She is also survived by grandchildren, Mandy Mancini (Joseph), Neil Brown (Susan), Heather (Cathy) Noah Brown (Samantha), W. Jacob Brown, Daniel Brown (Bridget), Racheal Moynihan (Brian), Brian Brown (Page), 11 great grandchildren and her special niece Sandra Stoeckel (Joseph). Lorraine was very active in the community; as a Cub Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout leader, member of the P.T.A., member of Home Bureau and as an Apalachin Fire Department Auxiliary member. Being an Auxiliary member she enjoyed many years working the food tent at The Apalachin Fireman Field Days. She enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing and socializing with friends and neighbors. Family get-togethers were always a favorite. Heaven gained an Angel. Miss you Mom. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 23rd @ Apalachin Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at 10:00 with a luncheon to follow the service.
