Obituary of Robert C. Noll

Robert Noll, 86, of Endicott NY (previously of Vestal, NY), passed away after an unexpected illness on January 17, 2024. He was born in Allentown, PA, on March 27, 1937, to Roberta (Faber) and Marvin Noll. Bob attended Whitehall High School before graduating from Lehigh University in 1959 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Bob worked at IBM for 34 years. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Lanny (Lovelace) and brother David Noll. Bob is survived by daughters Crystal Deckel (Robert) and Tracey Ayers (Rick) as well as four grandchildren: Lynne and Bradley Deckel, Stephanie and Kari Ayers. Bob will always be remembered for his many hobbies including his lifelong love of model aviation which took him around the country and world. He loved his cars including a 1931 Model A which he restored, a 1965 Ford Mustang, a 1971 MGB and most recently a 2000 BMW Z3. His passion for music started at a young age, which included his participation through adulthood in the Vestal Community Band for more than 30 years. The joy and love for his daughters and grandchildren was always on display during the annual family summer get-together. Calling hours for friends will be on Monday, January 22 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC 765 Main St Vestal, New York with a service following at 12 PM. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
