Obituary of Gail A. Bennett

Gail A. Bennett, 86 died peacefully in her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Gail was predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Bessie Potter, her husband Paul Bennett, her brothers Forrest and James Potter and her son Michael Partridge. Gail is survived by her daughters Barbara (Jeffrey) Lee of Macon, GA, Linda (Jerry) Caswell of Chenango Forks, daughter-in-law Stephanie Partridge of Vestal, brother Jerome (Beverly) Potter of Norristown, PA, sister-in-law Carol Potter of Melbourne, FL and step-children: Patricia Watts, Richard (Cindy) Bennett, Jeffrey (Debbie) Bennett and Penny (Edward) Brewster. Gail leaves behind her grandchildren Ashley Lee, Jared Lee, Alexandria Partridge and Kayla Caswell as well as her many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special friends and loving neighbors. Gail was a lifetime resident of Vestal graduating with the class of '56. Gail retired from BOCES Administration, was an avid doll collector, talented seamstress and loving grandmother. Gail's family would like to express their gratitude and many thanks to Gail's neighbors, the Horn family: Jeff, Melinda, Gabrielle and Brenden for all the help and care they have extended over the last 20 years to both Gail and Paul that made staying in their home possible. A graveside service and burial will be held at the Vestal Hills Cemetery on Monday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. for family and close friends.
