Obituary of Marjorie E. Sechrist

Marjorie Eva Sechrist 63, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2024 at her home in New Milford PA. Born February 13, 1961. She was preceded by her parents; Kenneth E. Sechrist, Sr. and mother Della A. Williams. Marjorie is survived by her 2 sons, Jess J. Traver Jr. (Patricia) and Jason E. Traver (Melinda); her grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Jaylyn, Kohanna, Jelani, Michael, Takeo, Jasmine, Abygail, Natasha, Jayson, Elliot, Aiden, and Xander; a great grandson, Romeo; her brothers Kenneth E. Sechrist, Jr. (Irene) and Christopher A. Sechrist (Janine); a sister Wendy M. Carey (Allyn), and many nephews and nieces. Marjorie was a strong, fun-loving person who had many friends and she loved them all. Marjorie was currently working at the Pump and Pantry in New Milford. Prior to her current job she was the head cook at her family's business, The Country Plate in Factoryville. Before opening the The Country Plate she was employed at The Price Chopper in Montrose, PA. Marjorie will be missed immensely by all who knew her. Our hearts are broken as we say so long to a mother, sister, grandmother, Auntie M and friends. A service will be held on May 11th, 2024 at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC 765 Main St., Vestal, NY at 2pm. Calling hours are 1-2 PM.
