Obituary of Juanita E Rarrick
Juanita Rarrick, a 65-year resident of Endwell, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Juanita was born to Rose Novello and Louis Novello Sr. of Carunchio, Italy in 1934, in Endicott, NY. She graduated with honors from Union-Endicott High School (Class of 1951) and attended Cornell University. While there, Juanita met the love of her life and husband of 61 years, Ralph Rarrick.
Juanita was an accomplished painter. Inspired by the pallete knife oil-on-canvas works of John Sloan and Gustov Courbet, she frequently showed her paintings at the Roberson Museum Gallery in Binghamton, NY. She also loved tennis and played throughout much of her adult life and later in Destin, Florida, where she and Ralph would spend their winters.
Juanita is survived by her brother, Louis Novello, Jr., sons Robert Rarrick, John Rarrick (Robin), grandchildren Max and Emilyrose, and great grandchildren Benjamin and Lillian. She is predeceased by her husband Ralph Rarrick, and her beloved sister, Philomena Scott.
