Obituary of Amelia Minnich

Amelia (Marty) Minnich of Apalachin Amelia (Marty) Minnich, 87, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 15, 2010, at Absolut of Endicott. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Felo; four brothers, Louis, Joseph, Oscar, William; two sisters, Rose FeDora and Helen Herman. She is survived by her husband, Edward Minnich of Apalachin; her four children and their spouses, Michael and Laura Minnich, Charles and Jenifer Minnich, Diane and Dan Traver, Mary and James Barry; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Agnes Dendy of Mississippi, Jennifer Johnson of Endicott, and MaryAnn Ciepichal of Florida; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth and Al Edson of Indiana. She attended Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church of Vestal and was a retired employee of the Vestal School System, working in the cafeteria. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. David Parsons, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at 11. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association , 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
