Obituary of Barbara A. Perry

Barbara A. Perry, age 80, of Endicott, passed away, peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024. Born in Endicott, NY on August 8, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Hoskins) English. Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband, B. Dean Perry, sisters Doris Bame and Linda Watson, and brother Robert English Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Aaron O'Rourke, her grandsons; Maxwell (Sarah) and Connor (Erica), her siblings; Julie Billet, Patty (Gary) Woolever, Craig (Becky) English, Jim English; and several beloved nieces, nephews and her Wilma Street neighbors, Brian and Cindy Baxter. Barbara was a kind-hearted, generous and caring woman who was a friend to all. She loved to cook and bake, especially around the holidays. She also loved to go to the beach every summer or traveled by cruise ship to tropical destinations. Above all, Barbara cherished spending time with her family. She took advantage of every opportunity to get together with her grandsons or as she called them "her boys". Barbara also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. You would also catch her every Saturday morning at breakfast with a very special group of ladies. Barbara will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott, NY on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service to follow. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell.
