Obituary of Robert O. Lawyer

Robert O. Lawyer of Endicott Robert O. Lawyer, of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2010. Born in Omaha, NE in November, 1923, he was a WWII veteran who served in the Navy from 1943 until 1946. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1950 and joined IBM in Omaha in 1951 and came to Endicott in 1952, where he spent the rest of his career until retiring in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Virginia, his son, Bob and wife, Kris; Michael Quigley, Laura and Manny Menendez, David and Susan Quigley; and seven loving grandchildren, Martin, Daniel, Clover, Brian, Aidan, Jared and Bill; and a special sister-in-law, Margaret Mitchell, Warwick, NY. A memorial service will be held for Robert on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
